|Ghost: Silent Killer||Tier 3|
|Basic (3 pt): You deal 15% more damage with all silenced weapons.|
|Ace (6 pt): You deal an additional 15% more damage with all silenced weapons.|
Equipping most suppressors will lower a weapon's damage. Basic Specialized Killing mitigates this by adding 15% of the weapons' base damage to the current rating, thus enabling it to deal more damage per shot. The ace effect doubles the bonus, granting a total of 30% base damage addition, which in most cases will grant a considerably higher damage rating than the unsilenced variant can reach.
This skill is useful when paired with a properly suppressed pistol/sniper rifle, as both weapon types can generally attain a higher-than-default damage value with it applied. It is also recommended for low-DR stealth/dodge builds if the player relies heavily on suppressed weaponry and/or need to deal a quick burst of high damage when detected.
Due to its ever-suppressed nature, the Valkyria would benefit a lot from the effects of this skill, regardless of situation.
- Ironically, despite what the title suggests, the effects of this skill are applied to all forms of enemies the player can encounter, not just any specific type of target or just special units alone, therefore making it beneficial for very "unspecialized" killing. It does, however, benefit only the use of suppressed weapons, so arguably it does indeed encourage a somewhat specific rule of engagement.
- The armor-piercing effect of the pre-Update #100 aced skill became part of the aced Surefire skill.
