The Doctor bag is a deployable piece of equipment in PAYDAY: The Heist and is unlocked as part of the Support upgrade tree.
Gameplay[]
Once placed on the ground, a player can fully restore their health by interacting with the Doctor bag for a few seconds. The number of times that the bag can be used is finite and shared by the crew, but increases as the player equipped with the bag advances through the Support tree from two uses to five. When a player finishes using the bag, their body armor begins to regenerate if it is damaged.
Although the doctor bag may not provide an immediate benefit like the ammo bag, it comes in handy at higher difficulty levels. Whether it is used when a team expects a breather, or in a safe place during an emergency, the doctor bag is one of the most useful pieces of equipment available to the team. Unlike ammunition, which can be found on dead law enforcers, health and the number of times a player can be downed can only be restored with a doctor bag – with the exception of levelling up on Hard difficulty or below, and of being taken into custody and then released. Players should use the doctor bag sparingly and only when they absolutely need to heal, or when are about to leave the area forever; once the doctor bag is depleted, it will disappear.
